ADDITIONAL MARKS FOR

NSS, AIU INTER-UNIVERSITY SPORTS & CULTURAL FESTIVALS

STUDENTS APPEARING IN FINAL YEAR EXAMINATION IN NOV/DEC 2006

1. As per MUHS Direction No 4/ 2002 dated 05 July 2002, following students are eligible for grant of 5/10 additional marks, which are to be added to the aggregate marks of the final degree examination of the eligible students:-

(a) NSS volunteers who have completed consecutive two years of regular activity
(120 hrs every year) and special camp of 10 days during the period of these two years.

(b) Students who have participated in AIU Inter-University sports tournaments.

(c) Students who have participated in AIU Inter-University Cultural Festivals / State level Cultural Festivals.

2. Colleges are requested to intimate the details of such eligible students of their college who are appearing in their final year exam in Nov/Dec 2006. The details should be forwarded separately for the NSS volunteers, Sports persons and Cultural participants as per attached Appendices `A’, `B’ & ‘C’ respectively, so as to reach this office by 15 Nov 2006 positively. The details received after the due date will not be considered for award of additional marks.

3. Please ensure that you have submitted the NSS Annual Report & Audited Accounts duly completed in respect of your NSS unit till 2005–06 to this office. This is necessary for crosschecking the eligibility of the concerned NSS volunteers. In absence of the reports & audited accounts of NSS, no action would be taken to grant the additional marks to the affected NSS volunteers.
