I. Categorisation of Teachers.

II. Staffing Pattern for Intake Capacity of 10 to 30 & 40 to 50.

III. Qualification & Experience of Teachers along with the Cadre.

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the revised norms in respect of staffing pattern and eligibility criteria of teachers, have been approved by Academic Council in it’s meeting held on 08/12/2003. This notification includes categorisation of teachers, staffing pattern for intake capacity, qualification & experience of teachers as per the appendix herewith.

The earlier notification i.e. Academic Notification No. 09/2003 (Vide ref. No. MUHS/ E-748/2003 dated 25/02/2003) & Letter vide ref. MUHS/E-6/5087/2003 dated 26/06/2003 stands repealed.

Course : - Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy

Categorisation of Teachers

1) Core subject teachers of Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy.

2) Pre-Clinical, Para-clinical & Clinical subject teachers of Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy

3) Speciality medical subject teachers of Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy

a) Intake capacity : upto 30 students.

(B) For teachers of Pre-clinical, Para-clinical & Clinical subjects and speciality subjects MCI norms will be applied.

* : The Qualification relaxation (Bachelors Degree in O.T./P.T.) for the post of Asso. Professors is only for 5 years i.e. Academic Year 2003 to 2008. It is expected that teachers having 8 years total experience, as teacher should complete PG before end of academic year 2007-2008, otherwise his / her designation stand cancel without giving any reason.

Please note :

Additional weightage will be given to clinical experience in teaching institution by ratio of 4 : 1 (Four years clinical experience in the teaching institution is equal to one year teaching experience.)
